LiveHive, Raptors.com and Ford Canada Team Up for Interactive Playoff Experience

New NanoGaming™ features launch around Raptors playoff telecasts

WATERLOO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 17, 2008) - LiveHive Systems™, a pioneer in interactive television, announced today that it has signed an agreement with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd. (MLSE) to feature a unique interactive experience on www.raptors.com designed to complement the NBA's Toronto Raptors 2008 playoff game telecasts.

Coinciding with the start of the Raptors first round playoff series against the Orlando Magic starting on Sunday, April 20th, users can play Raptors Shot Caller presented by Ford. On their computer, they go to www.raptors.com and click on the Shot Caller game banner or they go directly to the game at http://raptors.nanogaming.com. This free, interactive online experience includes popular NanoGaming features such as real-time game predictions, basketball trivia, and instant recall challenges.

Viewers play along on their computers while watching the game on television, accumulating points in the hopes of being named that game's overall winner. Prizes, such as autographed Raptors jerseys and playoff tickets are eligible for those who register and play. The user with highest single-game score will win a grand prize.

The Raptors are the second NBA team to introduce an interactive element to the game with LiveHive's NanoGaming-powered technology. Last month, the Philadelphia 76ers teamed up with LiveHive to introduce a similar online experience to accompany the 76ers game telecasts. In January, LiveHive rolled out an interactive contest during Toronto Maple Leafs regional telecasts on Leafs TV. The Toronto Maple Leafs and Leafs TV are also owned by MLSE.

The Raptors Shot Caller presented by Ford marks the first live release of LiveHive's most recent version of NanoGaming. It will also include such features as fan polling, group play, enhanced chat, and a new version of the Facebook application:

- Polling: Questions are posed for users (eg. "Who do you think would win a game of one-on-one between Chris Bosh and Dwight Howard"?) The answers are accumulated and the results posted.

- Group Play: Players can invite friends to play along with them so that the group can have its very own competition and Leader Board.

- Chat: Sponsors, teams and broadcasters can participate by chatting to viewers via NanoGaming's enhanced live Chat function.

- Facebook: Players can download a Facebook application and see how they are performing as compared to their friends listed on Facebook and broadcast their success after each game in their personal newsfeed.
