LiveRail Names Mathieu Gbetro as New Commercial Director for France and Belgium

Leading Video Monetization Platform Bolsters European Presence With New Appointment

PARIS, FRANCE--(Marketwired - Apr 7, 2014) - LiveRail, the leading video monetization platform for publishers, today announced the appointment of Mathieu Gbetro as its new Commercial Director for France and Belgium. Reporting to LiveRail GM EMEA Yoav Arnstein, Gbetro will lead sales efforts for France and Belgium and prospect new publishers in the European market while maintaining relationships with LiveRail's existing publisher clientele which include AdVideum, Teads, Belgacom Skynet Advertising, and Dailymotion.

Gbetro brings over 15 years of experience in the online advertising space, having previously worked for companies such as Advertising.com, (a division of AOL Networks), MindShare and Criteo. Prior to joining LiveRail, Gbetro served as Group Director of Product and Implementation for the Advertising & Data division at Orange where he played a role in the development of their performance ad network in the U.S., France, Spain, and Mexico. In 2011, Gbetro built and managed the Orange Publisher Trading desk.

"I'm excited to join LiveRail and to be given the opportunity to work with such a talented team," said Gbetro. "LiveRail's top quality technology will empower publishers within the French and Belgian markets and provide them with the necessary tools to successfully navigate the programmatic landscape. I'm looking forward to working with, and growing, LiveRail's already impressive roster of premium publishers."

Research conducted by EConsultancy reveals the growth of private marketplaces, specifically in Europe. According to the December 2013 study, 88% of advertisers and agencies surveyed in France indicated they increased their investment in online advertising display. Automated trading for direct response campaigns quickly took off in the US, but adoption of the private marketplaces and programmatic premium was faster in Europe, especially in the UK and France.

"We consider France the most progressive programmatic video market in Europe and looking ahead, we expect both France and Belgium will prove to be key regions for LiveRail," said Arnstein. "The addition of Mathieu will be a driving force in helping us further expand into these markets and promote additional growth for LiveRail."
