LIVESTRONG® Responds to Passing of Elizabeth Edwards

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - December 7, 2010) -  Today, LIVESTRONG released the following statement from its founder and chairman, Lance Armstrong, upon learning the news of Elizabeth Edwards' passing.

"Elizabeth was a dear friend and a great warrior in the fight against cancer. I'm deeply saddened that we've lost her. We shared a mission -- defeating cancer and supporting the people who live with it -- and I was proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with her many times in pursuit of those goals. She worked tirelessly to make cancer a national priority and her leadership will be greatly missed. My family and I are keeping all of Elizabeth's loved ones in our thoughts as they say goodbye to a devoted mother and unfailing friend."
