LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - June 27, 2011) - Sunday 12th June 2011 saw the Marriot Hotel, Glasgow hold the first Scottish Hair & Beauty Awards, presented by INAA.COM. LMS founder Tim Kennedy was in attendance as proud co-owner of a Scottish salon and the main sponsors, he mingled with the best in the industry which gave Scotland the chance to acknowledge the excellence of its' own.

The Scottish hair and beauty industry is a thriving trade with over 3,500 businesses that have a combined annual turnover of £500 million; it's definitely not something that should be ignored. The evening promised to be one not to forget, with a drinks reception, sumptuous dinner followed by a chance to give recognition to the best of the best. Owner of NewID Glasgow franchise, Tim Kennedy commented "What a great opportunity to recognise the people that are really excelling in this industry and close to my heart as Zak (one of NewID's stylists) is up for an award, so fingers crossed!"

LMS Founder and entrepreneur Tim Kennedy took the occasion to bring along several of his newest clients, giving them a chance to meet some of his associates in the hair and beauty industry. Founders of INAA.com, mother and daughter duo Ruthanne and Joanne Reid hosted the event perfectly, with all who attended very much ecstatic following the awards ceremony. "Congratulations to Jo and Ruthanne for such a successful night" stated Mr Kennedy "Very proud of Zak for winning Men's Stylist of the year, he's been a great asset at our NewID salon in Glasgow!" he continued.

TOWIE's fiery couple Mark Wright and Lauren Goodger were in good spirits at the awards ceremony, with Mark hosting part of the event. It gave Lauren a chance to mingle with an industry that she has a vested interest in as she's currently promoting her new fake tan "Laurens Way", Lauren and her sister Nicola spent some time at NewID Glasgow preparing for the ceremony and the following day.

LMS Owner Tim Kennedy had a chance to sit down and talk business with Lauren, with both having a keen interest in the industry, and with the launch of Laurens newest venture - this could be a big coup for Mr Kennedy.
