Local Community Bank Marks Fifteen Years

OAKDALE, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 23, 2006 -- Oak Valley Community Bank (OTCBB: OVYB) marks their fifteenth year on May 28, 2006. The bank has recently been in an expansion mode and opened four branches in the past nine months, bringing their total number of offices to twelve and increasing their branch network by 50%. They also recently reached another milestone last quarter, exceeding $400 million in total assets, a 22% increase over the previous year.

Oak Valley Community Bank is currently involved in a number of construction and branch development projects. The bank is in the process of restoring the historic First National Bank building in Oakdale. They plan to open an old-fashioned motif branch in the building as well as expand their administrative offices. They do not plan to close their existing Oakdale Branch. In addition, they are in the planning and construction phase on a permanent location in Stockton and a third Modesto location.

Established in 1991, Oak Valley Community Bank offers a variety of loan and deposit products dedicated to serving the needs of individuals and small businesses. The Bank currently operates through 12 conveniently located branches: Oakdale, Sonora, Turlock, Stockton, Patterson, Ripon, Escalon, two branches in Modesto, and three branches in their Eastern Sierra Division, which include Bridgeport, Mammoth Lakes and Bishop.
