Local Company, JobServe.us, Helps Get Job Seekers Back to Work

Peter Tuttle, President of JobServe.us Spoke Today of How His Cleveland Based Group of Job Boards Are Helping Job Seekers Nationwide Get Back to Work

CLEVELAND, OH--(Marketwire - March 31, 2011) - JobServe.us has launched a new feature, Announce Availability, designed to help job seekers actively seeking employment connect more quickly with recruiters looking to fill their job openings. Job seekers can indicate within their profile whether they are 'actively seeking work,' 'open to offers,' 'not looking' or prefer not to be contacted.

"The latest feature we have added is for job seekers to 'Announce their Availability' which is like them shouting 'Hey I'm looking for work!' Prospective employers can easily see who is really looking for a job and that way the job seeker's resume is likely to be on top of the pile," explains Tuttle.

"As more job seekers utilize the Internet to find work, we are constantly fine-tuning our job match technology to ensure we're delivering the most relevant job opportunities to our candidates across the US. Additionally, through our expansive job board network, we help employers effectively target their advertising reach. We want to connect the right people with the right jobs and therefore help reduce the 9.2% unemployment rate in Ohio," concluded Tuttle.

JobServe operates employment websites throughout the US including: 68 geographically targeted sites which operate under the CareerBoard brand, IT niche sites Computerwork.com and ComputerJobs.com and generalist board, JobServe.us.
