Local Group Signs Lease With Caesar's Entertainment for Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery at Linq Las Vegas

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - Nov 14, 2012) - The local team of Tilted Kilt Owner/Operators have joined forces with the concept's original founder to serve up another Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery at The Linq Las Vegas, a $550 million open-air retail, dining and entertainment district located on the 50-yard line of the world-famous Las Vegas Strip being developed by Caesar's Entertainment and Caruso Affiliated. The Linq is scheduled to open in October 2013.

The San Diego based team of Anthony Laureti, Bill Reynolds and Jason Wood own and operate three Tilted Kilts: Downtown next to Petco Park (2008), Temecula at the Promenade (2010) and Mission Valley at the Westfield Mission Valley Mall (2011). The group has also franchised a location next to the Honda Center that will open in December. For the new pub in Las Vegas, the group teamed up with Mark DiMartino who created the original Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery in 2003.

The Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery is a national franchise whose concept is a contemporary sports pub that pays homage to the old public houses of England, Scotland and Ireland and is staffed with beautiful servers in sexy plaid kilts.

According to Anthony Laureti, "This is an extraordinary opportunity for us to work with Mark DiMartino, the founder of the Tilted Kilt concept, as well as the Caesars Entertainment Group. And since the Tilted Kilt concept originated in Las Vegas, we're excited to be involved in bringing it back home."

"Our focus has been on finding locations in close proximity to major event centers such as Petco Park, and the shopping malls in Temecula and Mission Valley and the Honda Center. So when this opportunity was presented to us, we knew this was something we wanted to pursue," said Jason Wood.

"We understand the fundamental elements required in our industry that will make us successful. However, execution is key. We have been blessed with a team and infrastructure from management to hourly employees that are passionate about executing those fundamentals," said Bill Reynolds.

The Tilted Kilt Mission Valley and Downtown/Petco Park are consistently among the top performing franchises in the system. Nationally, there will be 95 Kilts by the end of the year in 21 states and 1 Canadian province with dozens in the pipeline.

Although the Tilted Kilt wasn't originally created to be a franchise, it wasn't long before it caught the eye of Ron Lynch, an experienced restaurant and franchise developer. DiMartino and Lynch soon agreed that the Tilted Kilt had a broad, far-reaching appeal with a very real chance to gain success in a loyal following in multiple regions. In moving forward, the Tilted Kilt headquarters were moved to Tempe, Arizona where it is based today.

Now, with locations far and wide and many more scheduled to open, the Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery continues to lift spirits and joyously reaffirm that "A Cold Beer Never Looked So Good."®
