In celebration of the Richmond Hill store launch Factorydirect has donated essential household items to the local Food Bank.

"Factorydirect is pleased to have the opportunity to give back to the community by offering the Richmond Hill Food Bank a donation of essential household items. We are thrilled to see the impact of our essential household products on families and children in our community," said Jodie O'Toole, vice president Factorydirect.

Factorydirect is very aware of the impact that its products have on families in our communities. Over the holidays, Factorydirect made a significant contribution of its products to the 2010 CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish program.

"We can't thank Factorydirect enough for their extraordinarily generous donation to the 2010 CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish program. We had a real and pressing need for appropriate items for teens. Factorydirect's solution was to send us a link to their products and suggested we select the items that would be best for our recipients. The Factorydirect donation put a smile on the faces of young people in need during the holiday season. Thank you for helping to give a kid a Christmas!" Chris Gordon, President, Bell Media Radio.
