PLANTATION, FL--(Marketwired - November 23, 2016) - As the president of BoardroomPR, one of the largest and most successful public relations firms in South Florida, Julie Talenfeld works daily to publicize and promote the many clients that have come to rely on her firm for visibility, recognition and elevated understanding. Her firm represents some of the most well-known companies in the real estate, law, business and finance and nonprofit industries. Now celebrating 25 years creating connections through PR and marketing, Julie and her husband, renowned children's rights attorney Howard Talenfeld, have donated $25,000 to the first-ever South Florida Holocaust Museum located in Dania Beach.
"This is a remarkable museum, that brings to life both the suffering and the heroism that was part of this important chapter in our global history," said Talenfeld. "I've long admired the work of Rositta Kenigsberg, who is the driving force behind this museum, and I am so glad to see it come to fruition. We must never forget the Holocaust." Talenfeld added that this is Boardroom's way of giving thanks.
Established 25 years ago, BoardroomPR works with clients across Florida and in Las Vegas and New York. Julie's deep community roots give her firm a leg-up on the competition -- she frequently and strategically introduces clients to whom they need to meet -- whether it's other clients, political figures, or members of the media -- to help bolster their business. She has established herself as a liaison and virtual reporter for the city of Plantation -- she even runs the Facebook group Plantation Nation, which provides residents with up-to-the-minute news and opinions surrounding the city to more than 1,100 members.
"We are tremendously grateful to Julie and Howard Talenfeld, for choosing our museum as the recipient of their special and most generous donation of $25,000 on the occasion of BoardroomPR's 25th Anniversary," said Rositta Kenigsberg, President of the Holocaust Documentation and Education Center.
With a long history of supporting local charities, BoardroomPR has been ranked on the South Florida Business Journal's list of Corporate Giving. The Talenfelds' and the firm's commitment to serving the community is illustrated in BoardroomPR's nonprofit client roster -- it has represented JAFCO, the Jewish Federation of Broward County, HOPE Outreach Center, Jewish Family Services and currently works with the Holocaust Documentation & Education Center, the organization behind the South Florida Holocaust Museum and the recipient of Talenfeld's donation.
