Locale Media to Expand to Los Angeles, Chicago, D.C., and Boston

Zip-Code Targeted Advertising for Four Major Markets

STAMFORD, CT--(Marketwire - November 10, 2008) - Locale Media, the local advertising network, is expanding to Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and Boston.

"We have initiated sales and marketing efforts in each of these four major markets," said Bhu Srinivasan, CEO of Locale Media. "In 2009, Locale Media will have a sales presence in every major metro market to sell display advertising to local advertisers."

Locale Media sells online advertising on major websites to local advertisers. For brand advertising, local businesses have been largely limited to local magazines for high-quality content environments. Through Locale Media, local advertisers can buy online advertising on the websites of major television networks, magazines, renowned newspapers, and lifestyle brands.

On these leading sites, Locale Media can zip-code target the advertising to be shown to just the towns and communities that any local advertiser needs to reach. The majority of local businesses have a core set of communities that deliver the majority of their sales. Locale Media can help advertisers reach core, local markets more cost-effectively than any other form of advertising.

"It's almost 2009. The web has been around in commercial form since 1994. Every consumer with even a dollar of discretionary income is online today. Yet, most local advertisers don't spend a single dollar online. Our goal is to educate the top-tier of local businesses, especially in high-end product categories, to understand the significant cost-advantages of online advertising," said Srinivasan. "Even with the economic slowdown, when we get the chance to present our proposition, the majority of our prospects see the value and simplicity of Locale Media."

Advertisers can target the most affluent areas in each of the four markets including:

Los Angeles:

Beverly Hills, Brentwood, West Hollywood, Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Pasadena, Santa Barbara, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, and the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

Chicago's exclusive North Shore including Winnetka, Glencoe, Evanston, Lake Forest, and Wilmette; DuPage County communities such as Barrington and Lake Bluff, Lake County communities, and Michigan Avenue.
