Location Technology Leader Moasis Appoints New CTO and CRO to Propel Growth and Expand Strategic Relationships

CTO Stephen Kurtzman and CRO Richard Gregory Bring Deep Experience and Expertise in Building Growth Companies in the Online/Mobile Ad Industry

Stephen Kurtzman, who has been named Chief Technology Officer, brings over 20 years of leadership experience building and scaling technology platforms at start-up and growth companies in the advertising and location technology industries. Richard Gregory joins Moasis as its Chief Revenue Officer, with more than 15 years' experience developing business models and go-to-market strategies, and building and scaling sales and business development strategies at leading companies such as Google, Spotify, and Quixey.

As Moasis' CTO, Dr. Kurtzman will be responsible for both product management and engineering, further developing the company's technical vision and developing and executing its product strategy. A veteran of the online advertising industry, Dr. Kurtzman founded StarPoint Software in 1996, eventually merging the company to form AdForce (at the time, the key competitor to Doubleclick) which was soon acquired in a $1.5B transaction. Most recently, Dr. Kurtzman led engineering teams at Google responsible for the core capabilities supporting its ads business. He was most recently CEO, President and Founder of LocalMotiv, where he helped develop an early location based mobile advertising solution designed to be easy and effective for small businesses.

As CRO, Mr. Gregory will develop and execute Moasis' revenue acceleration plan, managing sales and operations as well as business development. He was most recently Executive Vice President at application search leader, Quixey, where he was in charge of monetization, business development, M&A's and partnerships. While there he drove 10X revenue growth, propelling Quixey's valuation to $600 million. Prior to Quixey, Mr. Gregory was Regional Vice President with Spotify, where he helped establish the company's commercial presence in the U.S. and several new global markets, growing the service to more than five million subscribers worldwide and driving global ad revenue for its Audio and Display products more than 100% year-over-year. He also spent nearly a decade with Google, dating back to its pre-IPO days, leading the development of search ad markets around the globe in positions of increasing responsibility.
