LockPath Delivers Unprecedented Flexibility, Ease-of-Use in Keylight 4.2

OVERLAND PARK, KS--(Marketwired - August 25, 2015) - The regulatory compliance and information security landscape is rapidly evolving. Therefore, the software solutions organizations use to ensure compliance and security must constantly expand their capacity to manage data. Today, LockPath, a leader in innovative governance, risk management, compliance (GRC) and information security solutions, released the latest version of its award-winning platform -- Keylight 4.2 -- giving users even greater access to critical data that helps them stay compliant and secure.

"The latest enhancements to Keylight improve the usability, functionality and performance of the platform, all as a result of customer feedback and the evolving marketplace," Chris Goodwin, LockPath's Chief Technology Officer and co-founder, said. "End users will find the Keylight platform more powerful, making it easier to manage their GRC processes."

In Keylight 4.2, users gain access to Conditional Rules, a major addition to the patented Dynamic Content Framework (DCF), which is the highly scalable and flexible foundation of the Keylight platform. With Conditional Rules, an administrator can define one or many actions to occur when a specific condition is achieved. This allows dynamic logic to be built directly into the record, in order to efficiently capture or require only the appropriate data.

Other Keylight 4.2 updates include a redesigned navigation menu and two new integration methods. Reporting, workflow and application enhancements make it simpler for customers to use risk and compliance data to the fullest extent, within role-based security parameters.

"This is one of our largest Keylight releases to date," Goodwin said. "In Keylight 4.2, Conditional Rules and a new navigation menu bring further configurability and an updated look and feel to the most flexible GRC platform on the market."

Some of the new features and enhancements in Keylight 4.2 include:

  • Conditional Rules for DCF tables allow users to build smart, dynamic forms, and to selectively hide or require fields and data.
  • The email connector feature allows emails to be monitored and mapped into tables. For example, organizations using a compliance@examplecompany.com email for compliance or whistleblowing incident tips could automatically map emails into records within Keylight for investigation and remediation.
  • The RSS feed connector automatically creates DCF records based on a RSS feed URL.
  • New drop-down navigation menus provide separate drop-down menus for each of the individual applications, user preferences, administration, and online help.
  • Additional enhancements related to system-wide notifications, reporting, workflows and additional fields provide increased flexibility and security.
