LockPath Receives U.S. Patent

OVERLAND PARK, KS--(Marketwired - November 06, 2014) - LockPath, a leader in innovative governance, risk management, regulatory compliance (GRC) and information security (InfoSec) solutions, announced today its receipt of a newly issued patent relating to its Keylight™ platform. On October 28, 2014, the United States Patent and Trademark Office issued LockPath U.S. Patent number 8,874,621 entitled Dynamic Content Systems and Methods.

The patent covers LockPath's Dynamic Content Framework (DCF), the foundation of the company's GRC platform. The DCF is a highly scalable and flexible content engine that gives users the ability to create custom tables and fields. With DCF's drag-and-drop functionality, users can efficiently import and modify large sets of records. It gives users the ability to generate their own reports without requiring the assistance of developers and report writers, options that are not found on other GRC platforms.

"There is a significant need for efficiency and ease-of-use in today's technology," said Chris Goodwin, Chief Technology Officer at LockPath. "This patent further highlights our commitment to providing our customers with the latest in GRC technology offerings and to maintaining our position as an industry innovator."
