LockPath® Hosts GRC User Summit During National Cyber Security Awareness Month

Summit Highlights Compliance, Risk Management, Cybersecurity Best Practices

OVERLAND PARK, KS--(Marketwired - October 20, 2015) - October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM), and LockPath, a market leader in compliance, risk management and information security software, is contributing to NCSAM's mission this week by hosting its inaugural user summit Oct. 20-21, in Kansas City, Mo.

The LockPath Ready Summit (LPRS) includes two days of sessions on industry trends in information security and governance, risk management and compliance (GRC). LPRS will also include networking opportunities, and glimpses into the product roadmap for future development of LockPath's acclaimed Keylight® GRC platform. LPRS will be held at the Hotel Sorella on the Country Club Plaza, in Kansas City, Mo.

During the two-day summit, LPRS attendees will benefit from the following:

  • Keynotes from leading analysts GRC 20/20's Michael Rasmussen and Blue Hill Research's David Houlihan
  • Panel discussions, including "Shoring Up Your Cyber Defenses", featuring cybersecurity experts from information security companies iSIGHT, Depth Security, Tripwire and Veracode
  • Industry-specific sessions, including Polsinelli Health Care Attorney Katie Kenney's "Anatomy of a Health Care Data Breach"
  • Sessions on hot topics in information security, such as Shared Assessments Senior Director Tom Garrubba's "Building a Third-Party Risk Program"
  • Sessions surrounding the Keylight GRC platform, including case studies, product roadmap and working sessions
  • Opportunity to earn up to 15 hours toward CPE credits

"We've put together a full agenda of sessions and events that will be highly beneficial to our customers, many of whom focus daily on preventing data breaches, keeping their organizations compliant with a patchwork of regulations and identifying serious risks before they come to fruition," said LockPath CEO and Founder Chris Caldwell.

LockPath will host Keylight users from Fortune 100 companies, government agencies, and small, medium and large businesses, as well as company partners and industry experts. Since LockPath's founding in 2010, a rapidly expanding customer base has created the need for an annual user summit, where customers can exchange ideas on how they're using the Keylight platform.

"The LockPath Ready Summit is as much a celebration of how far we have come as a company in five short years, as it is a forum for our customers to share ideas," said Caldwell.
