SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - May 19, 2014) -  Locus Technologies (Locus), the leader in cloud-based environmental compliance and information management software, has welcomed three director-level employees to its management team: Chris Homer as Director of Sales, Government & Water Sectors, Robin Wood as Director of Mobile Applications, and Raj RajaMariappan as Vice President of Software Architecture and Platform Engineering.

As Director of Sales, Government & Water Sectors, Homer will be responsible for strengthening Locus' penetration in both of these market sectors, as well as maintaining and developing strategic relationships. Wood, Director of Mobile Applications, will lead development and strategy for mobile devices. Wood's main focus will be to expand Locus' mobile offerings to support all Locus cloud platforms -- enabling more efficient interaction with EH&S compliance and sustainability, on the go input of field data into the Locus cloud along with real time data validation and GIS interaction.

Wood is the original principle architect and developer of ScanControl's CropTrak, an iOS-based product that was acquired by Cogent3D, Inc. Prior to ScanControl, Robin worked on mobile application development for 10 years at Applied Materials and two years for Chevron, both in the Bay Area.

As Vice President of Software Architecture and Platform Engineering, RajaMariappan will utilize his strong engineering management and technical competencies to set objectives, develop strategies, and provide direction and leadership to all of Locus' software engineering teams. He will be responsible for all aspects of development, software engineering, and maintenance of the Locus Platform, EIM, and ePortal.

RajaMariappan has more than 10 years of enterprise software engineering, product development and leadership experience with large and small software companies where he was responsible for enterprise software applications. He comes to Locus from Oracle where he was the director of product strategy for the Instantis product line in the Oracle Primavera Global Business Unit. Prior to this RajMariappan was a software development manager at Hewlett-Packard where he was responsible for developing HP Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) family of products and customer success.

"We are very excited to welcome Chris, Robin, and Raj to Locus' growing team of the most talented professionals. Attracting top talent to pursue the company's pioneering idea of delivering web-based software for the management and reporting of enterprise EH&S compliance information has always been a winning combination for Locus," said Neno Duplan, Locus President and CEO. "I have no doubt that a positive impact will be felt across our organization from the combined experience and expertise of all three of our new directors."
