City of Nashville, Tenn. to Deploy Locution Systems' CADVoice® Automated Dispatching & Fire Station Alerting System in 40 Fire Stations

GOLDEN, CO--(Marketwire - Dec 1, 2011) - Locution Systems, Inc., a provider of advanced, automated 911 dispatching, zoned dispatching, and fire station alerting, and fire station control technology, today announced that it has been commissioned to provide the radio version of its CADVoice® automated dispatching and fire station alerting system to the City of Nashville, Tenn.

The City of Nashville will implement the CADVoice® Radio automated dispatching & fire station alerting.

The key reasons why a city or county implements Locution Systems' automated dispatching & fire station alerting system are to achieve faster response times and to reduce stress for public safety professionals. Typical results from implementing Locution Systems' automated dispatching and fire station alerting system include:

1) Faster Response Times (CADVoice® helps speed up response times to fires and medical emergencies.)
2) Reduced Stress For 911 Dispatchers (CADVoice® reduces stress for the 911 dispatching staff by allowing the current staff to handle more call volume.)
3) Reduced Stress For First Responders (Locution Systems' array of modular fire station alerting technologies can reduce stress and sleep deprivation for first responders.)

"We look forward to working with the City of Nashville to implement a fast, efficient automated dispatching system that will improve the lives of 911 dispatchers and speed response times," said Glenn Neal, Locution Systems' founder, president, and chief technology officer. "Our dispatching system interfaces with Nashville's new computer-aided dispatching (CAD) system from Motorola Solutions. We will work closely with the City of Nashville and our industry partners at Motorola Solutions to help Nashville speed its response times and reduce stress for its dedicated public safety workers."
