Logan Pierson, President, to Leave SmartWater CSI

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL--(Marketwired - Nov 12, 2014) - Logan Pierson announced his recent departure as President of U.S. operations for SmartWater CSI effective at the end of October. Pierson successfully led the start-up from its inception in 2012 to the position it currently holds as an industry leader of forensic theft deterrent technology. Cities and law enforcement agencies throughout Florida and the United States are deploying SmartWater to effectively reduce residential and commercial property crime.

"Starting dynamic companies with a compelling public benefit at their core is my passion," said Pierson. "After two remarkably exciting and fulfilling years as president, branding and growing this young firm, I am moving in a new direction and considering other business opportunities. I'm very fortunate to have been, as with my prior start-up business ventures, surrounded by a wonderful universe of very talented people. I look forward to what's on the horizon for me and working again with such a great team of professionals."

Pierson has a track record of successes in creating new business ventures, global sales and marketing initiatives, finance, operations, government relations and public policy in both corporate and start-up environments. Prior to joining SmartWater CSI, Pierson was a senior executive with JM Family Enterprises. He has successfully launched three separate high-tech entrepreneurial ventures, selling two to publicly-held entities, and is founder of Wind Power Systems, LLC. Pierson is a graduate of Auburn University, an NCAA All-American and former Top 25 World Ranked swimmer.
