Logi Analytics Receives Highest Scores for Embedded Analytics in Two Industry Reports

Embedded Analytics Leads to Greater Realization of Strategic Business Benefits, Including Improved Customer Satisfaction, Enhanced User Experience and Increased End-User Adoption

MCLEAN, VA--(Marketwired - March 28, 2016) - Logi Analytics is proud to announce it has achieved the highest score for the OEM and embedded business intelligence (BI) use case (4.05 of 5) out of the 24 vendors in Gartner's 2016 Critical Capabilities for Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms. Logi was also recently recognized as a leader in embedded analytics in Dresner Advisory Services' 2015 Embedded Business Intelligence Market Study.

According to the Dresner study, over the past three years, the perceived overall importance of embedding analytics has increased, with more people considering embedded BI to be critical. This aligns with findings from Logi's soon-to-be-released 2016 State of Embedded Analytics Report, which found that 87 percent of all application providers say embedded analytics is important to their users.

"While companies are increasingly looking for employees to make data-driven decisions, they often struggle to get users to adopt business intelligence tools," said Steven Schneider, chief operations officer for Logi Analytics. "Whether you are a software provider or an internal IT team, a key factor to analytics adoption is putting data in the context of the tools people use every day. If users can get the information they need by simply using one application, they are able to make more-informed decisions."

Over the past ten years, more than 600 software and SaaS providers have relied on Logi's embedded business intelligence tools to create engaging apps, boost user adoption and differentiate their products. It is this experience that has led Logi to be a recognized leader and trusted source for embedded analytics.

"We needed a highly embeddable solution, and Logi Info was really the perfect fit," noted Andrew Brodie, CEO of SSB Consulting. "I haven't seen anyone come close to offering what Logi does for people in the OEM space."

"Analytics are becoming a core component of all software applications, and when done correctly, it is impossible to tell the difference between an application and the embedded analytics content," said Schneider. "Just as consumer applications embed analytics as a natural part of the user experience, we believe business applications will continue to move away from bolt-on approaches to more infused implementations."
