Logicworks Expands Sales, Marketing, and Business Development Initiatives to Meet Increasing Demand in 2009

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - February 18, 2009) - Logicworks, a leading provider of high-availability hosting solutions to support business-critical applications and content, today announced the expansion of its sales, marketing, and business development initiatives. In addition to expanding its sales team, the company will also focus on strengthening partner relations and continue its "green" initiative through a carbon off-set program.

A key component of the company's new growth strategy is the appointment of Chris Hoffman as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In this role, Mr. Hoffman will develop and manage the company's sales and marketing strategy, including such initiatives as several new advertising campaigns and a new channel partner program. Mr. Hoffman has a proven track record in successfully scaling companies to compete in exceedingly aggressive markets by differentiating his company's product set and customer service level.

"While the overall economy is challenging, we have seen a significant increase in the demand for high-availability hosting and application co-sourcing in specific market sectors, such as media, entertainment, healthcare, advertising and communications markets," said Carter Burden, CEO, Logicworks. "Our goal is to meet this demand by growing the company with first-rate hires such as our new senior vice president of sales and marketing Chris Hoffman. Chris brings a great deal of expertise and knowledge that will be instrumental in structuring and positioning our sales and marketing organization and partner programs for growth in 2009."

In 2008, Logicworks achieved several significant milestones. The company relocated to an eco-friendly 14,000-square-foot office space in New York City and was named by INC. Magazine among the fastest-growing companies in America.

As part of its growth initiatives in 2009, Logicworks recently launched a new marketing communications strategy that includes a new logo and Website redesign -- -- as well as an aggressive advertising and marketing campaign.

"As the company continues to experience rapid growth, Logicworks is well positioned to strengthen and expand its footprint within the mid-market through its direct and partner sales channels," said Chris Hoffman. "Our belief in placing the customer first, coupled with our industry leading expertise, is what has and will make us a Market defining niche."
