Lollapalooza Organizers Tap Inquisite to Measure Attendee Demographics and Attitudes

Surveys Offer Insight Into Audience Makeup for Event Sponsors

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - September 11, 2007) - Inquisite, the human insight software company, today announced the successful completion of a survey conducted at the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago in early August. Using Inquisite, event organizers gained a way to gather demographic information about their attendees to ensure that they are targeting the right sponsors and that their sponsors were targeting the right audience.

Inquisite's sophisticated Web survey software allows organizations to customize and brand each survey to gather the most targeted and actionable information. Information from Lollapalooza's broad audience base was collected and analyzed and turned into useful information for sponsors and the sponsorship sales team. The survey gathered basic demographic info from attendees including age, gender, location and education, as well as where respondents stand on certain political issues including oil prices and global warming.

Some information the survey revealed includes: 73 percent of attendees were between the ages of 18 and 34; 15 percent had completed high school; 30 percent had completed a four year graduate degree; and 11 percent had completed a graduate degree. When asked if they voted in the 2006 election, 52 percent did vote and 41 percent did not. These results were also segmented into male and female responses.
