London Marketing Services Attends Scottish Daisy Ball in Honour of the Anthony Nolan Trust

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Feb. 9, 2011) - Saturday 20th November 2010, Hilton Hotel, Glasgow, hosted the 12th annual Scottish Daisy Ball. This is the third year Tim Kennedy, managing director of London Marketing Services, has attended the inspiring ball, which raises tens of thousands each year for the Anthony Nolan Trust.

The Anthony Nolan Trust saves the lives of people with leukaemia by matching them with stem cell donors. The Daisy Ball not only raises money for the charity, but also raises the profile of its work and encourages people to join the bone marrow register.

This year Mr Kennedy had his own table at the event and invited ten of his close friends and work colleagues of London Marketing Services to join him. It was the perfect opportunity to mix business and pleasure, plus raise money in aid of such a good cause. The event was packed with great entertainment and wonderful food, plus a visit from the worlds' second best Elvis impersonator. It was, as always, a night to remember.

Aside from all the performers and the delicious meal, there was also an exciting auction in which Tim of course participated. The thrill of the auction and being an avid bidder makes it even more special when it is for a charity he closely regards, like the Anthony Nolan Trust. Mr Kennedy also contributed to the silent auction and this year got a little carried away, purchasing a signed framed Scotland top, a 'tear drop in rain' art piece, John Hartson photo/frame, a signed Rangers shirt, a signed Everton football, a signed Birmingham top and '9 in a row' framed art piece.

Linsdsan MacCallum, regional fundraising manager, Scotland North, said 'We were delighted to have so much support from Tim Kennedy for 2010 and look forward to welcoming him onboard as the Scottish Daisy Ball's Platinum Sponsor for 2011. Tim contributed greatly to the success of this year's Scottish Daisy Ball by buying so many auction and silent auction prizes and we are extremely appreciative of his support.'

The night turned out a huge success and was an excellent opportunity for Tim to show his colleagues and clients how important it is to help a good cause. All of his guests from London Marketing Services are incredibly excited for the Scottish Daisy Ball 2011 and are eager to participate like Mr Kennedy did this year. Hearing some of the courageous stories and meeting some of the amazing people who dedicate their lives to helping things grow and progress was truly moving and inspiring.
