Longbow Resources Inc. Announces Initial Drilling Results in Byemoor

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Nov. 27, 2007) - Longbow Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:LBR) ("Longbow") is pleased to announce that the company has completed and tested the first new well on its Byemoor Property. The LONGBOW HZ FENNBV 1-8-35-18W4 well spudded on Oct 31 and rig released Nov 14, 2007. The well is a horizontal well drilled from a surface location in 9-8 to a bottom hole location in 1-8-35-18W4. The open hole horizontal section was drilled to a length of 570m. The well was completed from Nov 17 to Nov 24th.

The well swab tested within the range of management's original expectations. The Company plans to produce the well at a stabilized rate in the 40 to 70 boepd range. The variation in production is due to the initial relativity high gas to oil ratio, which may curtail production due to potential gas processing facilities restraints in the area at this time. The well is expected to be tied-in and on production by early January 2008.

Longbow is a junior oil and natural gas company based in Calgary, Alberta with core natural gas & oil properties located in Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia.

Past results have been applied in drawing a conclusion or making a forecast or projection set out in the forward-looking information. The term barrels of oil equivalent ("boe") may be misleading, particularly if used in isolation. A boe conversion ratio of six thousand cubic feet per barrel (6mcf/bbl) of natural gas to barrels of oil equivalence is based on an energy equivalency conversion method primarily applicable at the burner tip and does not represent a value equivalency at the wellhead. All boe conversions herein are derived from converting gas to oil in the ratio mix of six thousand cubic feet of gas to one barrel of oil.
