Opening its doors to the public on Wednesday October 6, 2010, this marks their 23rd location in the GTA and their first full format store downtown where they will be bringing a passion for food, unrivalled expertise, and outstanding value and quality to the downtown core.

The 48,000 square foot Maple Leaf Square location provides shoppers an environment offering local freshness traditionally reserved for open-air farmers markets; food knowledge and expertise normally found in niche food boutiques and an incredible array of exotic products sourced from across the globe.

Shoppers will have a wide variety of items to choose from in store from delicious prepared meals to fresh ingredients which will inspire healthy and flavourful meal creations. The new location offers so much more than food and groceries. Longo's Maple Leaf Square is also home to Corks Beer and Wine Bar– featuring fine local craft made beers and wines all made in Ontario. Shoppers can enjoy a enjoy a glass of wine or a cold frosty beer with their freshly prepared meals on site in the Loft Lounge. To encourage shoppers to expand their cooking horizons, Longo's Loft will offer specialty cooking classes to teach customers how to use a variety of ingredients from the exotic to the everyday.
