Longo's is pleased to announce that its biggest store ever is now open at the Riocan Centre on the South East corner of the QEW and Burloak, bordering of Oakville and Burlington. The new store is designed to appeal to the lifestyle enthusiast, time starved families and for people looking for an escape from life's hectic routines.

"Our Burloak store represents everything Longo's stands for ... outstanding team members who are passionate about food and the customers they serve," says Anthony Longo, President and CEO. "We encourage families to come and experience the adventures in food we have created here."

The new store also features several firsts for Longo's, including an on-site Belgian Chocolatier, a community Loft that will host cooking classes and special events, and Longo's Aromate Cafe that roasts the coffee beans right on site.

The opening ceremony featured a performance from Burlington's St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School Band, a few words from Rob Burton, Mayor of Oakville, Rosanne Longo, Anthony Longo and store manager Steve Vetrecin. The festivities were capped with a ribbon cutting ceremony and cake.

Opening festivities designed for food-loving customers are taking place for the month of March. People can experience complimentary cooking demonstrations, sampling sessions and meet various authors and chefs.
