Longview Capital Partners Announces Ownership Changes

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 12, 2008) - Longview Capital Partners (TSX:LV)(FRANKFURT:L6V) announced today a change in significant shareholdings of the company. Damien Reynolds, Chairman and CEO has relinquished ownership of 15 million shares of Longview Capital, while Hein Poulus, Ron Shorr, both Directors and John Icke, Chief Operating Officer have acquired 12 million shares of the Company. The remaining 3 million are to be placed in the market with the assistance of the Company.

Damien Reynolds, Chairman and CEO of Longview Capital, said, "I had pledged my Longview Capital shares as collateral for a loan taken to support Finavera Renewables and the recent financial crisis created a margin call I could not meet. While I am disappointed to have lost a significant ownership stake in the Company which I founded, I am grateful for the continued financial and moral support of Hein, Ron and John. I have pledged to continue in my position as Chairman and CEO of Longview Capital and will re-double my efforts to build a successful resource group."
