Loon Issues Options

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Dec. 5, 2007) - Loon Energy Inc. ("Loon") (TSX VENTURE:LEY) granted options to purchase an aggregate of 1,760,000 common shares on December 5, 2007 to eight insiders of Loon. The exercise price is $0.61 per share and the expiry date of the options is December 6, 2012.

Loon is an international oil and gas exploration and production company having direct interests in Brunei, Syria, Colombia, Peru, Tunisia and Slovenia and exposure to a major exploration and development program in Pakistan through its shareholding interest in Jura Energy Corporation.
