Loyalty Lab Announces 'Gimme Love' Facebook Application

1-800-FLOWERS.COM Uses New App to Link 'Fresh Rewards' Loyalty Program to Facebook

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - September 18, 2007) - Loyalty Lab, the leader in on-demand best customer management for consumer brands, today announced its new "Gimme Love" application, which connects customer relationship programs to Facebook applications and widgets. 1-800-FLOWERS.COM (NASDAQ: FLWS) is the first Loyalty Lab client to tap the new application, linking its loyalty program, Fresh Rewards, to Facebook and enabling customers to accrue real benefits for their activities in the virtual space.

Loyalty Lab's new application leverages the open APIs provided by Facebook and enables retailers and consumer brands to reward their best customers for activities they do while on the popular social networking site. In the case of 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, the "Gimme Love" application will reward members of its successful loyalty program, Fresh Rewards, for referring their friends to the multi-channel specialty gift retailer.

The new product is in response to Loyalty Lab clients who are seeking ways to participate in the social networking revolution. With "Gimme Love," Loyalty Lab clients can quickly and easily go live with their own Facebook app and, within days, allow Facebook members to collect points for referrals, purchases, viewing their point balances, or showing off virtual versions of their favorite product or recent purchase.

Further applications in development will enable Facebook members who give virtual flowers to also purchase them as well as earn points or discounts on purchases when friends click branded links, site referrals, and sweepstakes enrollments.
