Order Includes LRAD 100X™ and LRAD 500X™ Systems

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - Jun 29, 2011) - LRAD Corporation (NASDAQ: LRAD), the world's leading provider of acoustic hailing devices (AHDs), announced today it has received an opening LRAD systems order from Israel's Ministry of Defense. The initial $293,000 order for LRAD 100X and 500X systems will ship this quarter.

The Company's proprietary LRAD 100X and 500X systems clearly broadcast hails, warnings, commands and instructions with 100% intelligibility in multiple languages up to distances of 1 km.
