Mr. Tait brings more than 20 years of marketing and management experience to Lucid Imagination. Prior to joining Lucid, he held management and executive management positions at BEA, Citrix, Documentum and EMC, where he has been a pioneer in online Marketing strategy. At BEA, for example, he leveraged the first available eMarketing tools to drive adoption of BEA's app server and portal products and build the BEA Developer Program, signing up 250k developers in a little more than a year and helping fuel the company's growth to the $1 billion mark. Since that time Mr. Tait has been a serial adopter of new marketing technologies, using marketing automation, online communities, webinars, email marketing and social networking tools to build bigger and better engines for generating revenue at each new company, including using them for all demand-generation activities for the $2.3 billion software business within EMC.
