BURBANK, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 23, 2007 -- Luma, the first American-developed, full-ownership, active adult beachfront community in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico, releases pricing and features details for its residences. Since announcing the development in February, interest is high and many homes are already reserved.

Luma's construction commences this fall, with the first phase to open in late 2008. When completed, Luma will showcase bold contemporary Mexican design by the renowned Ernesto Del Castillo Marquez Architecture Firm and offer over 400 stunning residences, 264 of which will be beachfront. Designed for those 50 and over, Luma's setting, style and services, including a unique Lifestyle Concierge Program, promises "active adult living reimagined."

First phase Luma homes start at $446,000 for a 1,996 square foot one bedroom plus den. The 2,489 square foot two bedroom plus den begins at $590,000; the 3,433 square foot three bedroom homes start at $779,000; and penthouses are $1,775,000 (all prices are subject to change without notice). Each residence includes generous terraces.

Sales representation is provided by Prudential California Realty, Vallarta Division. A $25,000 deposit is required to reserve a residence, followed by an additional 35 percent down at the groundbreaking later this summer. HOA fees will include a social membership at Paradise Village with discounts at the world-renowned golf course, El Tigre. Construction on the model home, presenting the warm, inviting style of Luma, is scheduled to start this summer. Additional information is available by calling toll-free 866-554-LUMA (866-554-5862), going to or visiting Luma's on-site sales studio opening in June.

Spacious homes will feature a wealth of sophisticated appointments. Designed by the award-winning Castlerock Design Group, the interiors reflect contemporary Mexican design and color palettes of rich, natural tones. With 11- to 13-foot-high ceilings, glass walls and large terraces, each home blends indoor and outdoor living and captures sweeping ocean and mountain views.

Floor plans showcase gracious sitting and dining areas, dressing rooms and generous walk-in closets with dehumidifiers, storage, and a laundry room. Designer kitchens will be finished with GE Profile and Monogram stainless appliances, granite countertops, tile floors, and an undermount Moen sink and faucet. A limited number of penthouse units with private pools and palapas are available.

Luma's beachfront common spaces include a lobby lounge, café and bar, library, ocean view wellness center, massage, Pilates and yoga center, saltwater infinity pools, bocce court, sports/game room, ocean view terrace and a private marina. Ornamental pavers and broad palapas define lush outdoor spaces that connect lounging areas to intimate gathering spaces.

Luma's concept combines active adult living with personal lifestyle services, creating an experience designed by the individual. A Luma Lifestyle Concierge coordinates everything from reservations and excursions to housekeeping and chef services. Luma's location, within the Paradise Village resort area, also provides exclusive access to an 18-hole golf course, shopping and five-star spas, restaurants and bars. Add to this American-style health care, high-speed Internet and English-speaking staff, and Luma is an idyllic coastal community.

Luma is located about 30 minutes from Puerto Vallarta and an easy 15 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta Airport. A Front Porch Development Company project, Luma will be built in partnership with Mexico-based Grupo Krone.
