Luna Gold Corp. (TSX: LGC) ("Luna Gold" or "the Company") announced today that it has filed a preliminary short form base shelf prospectus with the securities commissions or similar regulatory authorities in each of the provinces of Canada, except Quebec.
The base shelf prospectus will allow Luna to offer up to US$200,000,000 (or the equivalent thereof in Canadian dollars) of common shares, debt securities, subscription receipts, units, warrants and share purchase contracts from time to time over the 25-month period after Canadian securities regulatory authorities have issued a receipt for the final short form base shelf prospectus.
