Lunatec Lifts Spirits, One Washcloth at a Time

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - Dec 6, 2011) - Lunatec®, a company specializing in outdoor adventure gear, is supplying more than 5,000 of its unique never-wash travel washcloths to troops serving overseas.

The San Diego-based company donated the unique washcloths to Operation Gratitude as part of a shipment of care packages. Trekr® is designed specifically for travelers and outdoor adventurers. It is especially a useful and comforting fit for members of the Armed Forces while they are deployed.

"I've recently spoken with Marines who mentioned how the small comforts of home that we take for granted become big boosts to moral for them in remote locations. It turns out getting clean every once in awhile is one of those comforts," said President of Lunatec, Nick Rhea.

"This is one small way we can give back to our troops, especially around the holidays," said Rhea. "We were thrilled to be able to provide something that is useful that they might not already have to make their time overseas a little better."

Trekr is ideal for military men and women because it never needs to be washed. It rinses clean every time you use it, dries quickly, resists odors, exfoliates and is durable.
