Luxury Institute Survey: High Net-Worth Consumers Rank Auto Brands That Deliver the Best Customer Experience -- Lexus, Infiniti and Acura

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - March 4, 2008) - High net-worth consumers rated Lexus the auto brand that offers the best customer experience in the 2008 Luxury Customer Experience Index (LCEI) survey from the New York City-based Luxury Institute (www.LuxuryInstitute.com).

One respondent commented, "I have been completely satisfied with my Lexus. It rides beautifully and we get excellent service." Others said Lexus will "do anything to please their customers." Lexus was rated most favorably by females under age 50 with a net income of $150-$199K and net-worth over $1.0MM. Infiniti and Acura were second and third, respectively.

"Today there are many 'independent' automobile rating services," said Milton Pedraza, CEO of the Luxury Institute. "The Luxury Institute differentiates its ratings in three ways that we believe are unmatched. The proprietary Luxury Customer Experience Index (LCEI) survey is the only measure of the customer experience of leading brands among wealthy Americans. A national sample of 1,636 wealthy American consumers, with an average income of $349K and average net-worth of $3.7 million, was surveyed online. Survey results are weighted to match demographic and net-worth profiles of the same audience according to the latest Survey of Consumer Finances from The Federal Reserve.
