Luxury Mumbai Hotels' Guests 'Live Life to Discover'

Mumbai Guests Invited to 'Get Out' as Part of Renaissance's New Campaign

MUMBAI, INDIA--(Marketwire - Jul 10, 2012) -  Encouraging guests to share in their "Live Life to Discover" theme, one of the premier Mumbai business hotels recently invited guests to "Get Out" of their hotel rooms and discover the area.

On June 7, 2012 the guests staying at the luxurious Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel, were asked to participate in the new Renaissance "Get Out & Discover" initiative aimed at allowing guests the opportunity to learn about new places, sights and sounds surrounding their hotel stay. Offering an enrichment tour to Mumba Devi Temple, the luxury hotel guests had the opportunity to visit one of the area's ancient landmarks where they gained in-depth knowledge and insight on the history of Mumbai. The 15th century temple was dedicated to Maa Mumba Devi, the patron goddess of Mumbia and name sake for the city, formerly Bombay. Prior to the outing, the Mumbai hotel guests were served Nariyal Pani, the local beverage of Mumbai, and following the journey they were treated to an authentic local breakfast. Those participating in the tour were also presented with a small token of love from the hotel as a souvenir of their Mumbai discovery experience.

The opportunity to discover continued in the evening as guests were treated to an offering of indigenous, quirky and unique cocktails and mocktails at the Powai hotel's A-Bar. Created with local ingredients, drinks such as Paantini, made from ingredients like Ketel One Vodka, Sambucca, Gulkhand and Betel Leaf; Teekha Peru, made of Ketel One Vodka, Guava juice and Tabasco sauce; Mango Madorita, made with Sagatiba and Mango puree; and Coconut Punch, which includes Bacardi white rum and coconut, introduced the guests to the local flavors of Maharashtra.

One of several relaxing options at this luxurious choice among India hotels near Bombay Exhibition Center, the A-Bar joins with six on-site eateries to provide guests with exceptional dining and refreshment choices during their stay. From the Lake View Café and Emperor's Court to Bombay Express and the Velvet Lounge, travelers can choose from a variety of menu options including deli favorites, International and Chinese cuisine as well as a traditional Italian restaurant in Mumbai, Fratelli Fresh.
