Macau Beer Now Available in Florida

TAMPA, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- June 13, 2006 -- Macau Beer, imported from Macau, China, is now available in the Sunshine state! "We're very happy to be selling Macau Beer in Florida. We think the beer will be accepted well among the market here because of the taste and the popularity of Asian Beers in Florida," says Marc Barhonovich, who heads up the Macau South office.

Macau Beer is imported from Macau, a small island city located in the south of China. A former Portuguese colony, Macau is a popular vacation spot for people from Hong Kong because of its luxurious casinos. Sands, Steve Wynn, MGM, and even Playboy all have or will have casino hotel resorts in Macau. It's a popular spot for food, gambling, and, of course, beer.

Macau Beer is a Pale Lager, which is smooth and refreshing. Perfect with dinner or just by itself. "Most importantly, Macau Beer is 100% formaldehyde-free. We are the only Chinese Beer offered in the US which does not use formaldehyde in the brewing process," says Marc Barhonovich. "Europe and the US have banned the use of formaldehyde in the process of brewing beer, but it is still used in China because it is a cheap way to preserve beer. We are very happy to offer people the only truly 100% formaldehyde-free beer from China. Make sure you ask for it the next time you are at you favorite Asian restaurant."

Macau Beer is the latest beer to enter the red-hot Asian beer market sold here in the United States. Other brands that are enjoying success in this category include Tiger, Kirin, Sapporro, and Tsingtao. Anheuser Busch has also taken notice of the success of the fast-growing Asian beer segment. They recently purchased Tiger Beer out of Indonesia and have taken a 28% stake in Tsingtao.
