AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwired - Oct 14, 2013) - Macheen Inc., a leading mobile cloud application service provider for connected devices, today announced that Greg Stock, CEO, and Richard Schwartz, founder and Chief Strategy Officer, will present at two large industry events this fall.
Mobility in the enterprise is rapidly changing -- increasing numbers of mobile workers, new devices, applications in the cloud, BYOD and increasing pressure to improve employee productivity. Management tools are not keeping up and certain aspects of managing mobility are being missed. In the presentation, "The Evolution of Mobile Enterprise Management: Monsters in the Closet", Stock and Schwartz will talk about the changes happening in both the industry and the enterprise and will discuss strategies to address the obstacles.
IP EXPO, the UK's top enterprise IT event, takes place at Earls Court 2, London, October 16 - 17. There, Richard Schwartz will provide insight to the gaping holes regarding flexibility and control around mobile connectivity in the enterprise. Schwartz's presentation to be held Wednesday, October 16 from 15:50 - 16:20 pm in the Wireless & Mobile Theatre.
Prior to founding Macheen, Schwartz sold three companies including SoloMio to Openwave, Diffusion to Vignette (now OpenText) and Ansa Software (Paradox database) to Borland International. Schwartz holds a PhD in Computer Science from UCLA. After completing his PhD, he was a visiting professor in Applied Mathematics at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, and then served as senior computer scientist at Stanford Research Institute (SRI International) prior to founding his first company. He holds a number of patents and is the author of numerous publications.
MobileCon, powered by CTIA, is an industry conference meets trade show and is a one-stop shop for thought leadership, actionable education, peer-to-peer learning and solutions shopping. This event will take place at the San Jose Convention Center in Silicon Valley, October 16 - 18. Greg Stock to present on Thursday, October 17, at 11:30 am PST on Stage 2.
Prior to joining Macheen, Greg Stock was Chairman and CEO of Vovici in Washington D.C. During his four-year tenure, Stock transformed the company into the leading provider of Voice of the Customer (VoC), SaaS solutions. Under his leadership, Vovici experienced explosive growth by more than 300 percent, expanding its customer base to 1,200, including 50 percent of the Fortune 500. Vovici was acquired by Verint-Systems in July 2011. Before Vovici, Greg served as President and CEO of Mirage Networks, a provider of network access control (NAC) solutions based in Austin, TX.
