Mackenzie Investments Partners With Bullfrog Power on Renewable Energy Initiative

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - April 27, 2015) - Today, Bullfrog Power®, Canada's leading green energy provider, and Mackenzie Financial Corporation (Mackenzie Investments) announced a new sustainability partnership that will see Mackenzie Investments choose Bullfrog Power's green natural gas for its Simcoe Street office in Toronto.

Through the agreement, Bullfrog Power's generators inject green natural gas onto the national pipeline to match the amount of conventional natural gas used by the Mackenzie Investments Toronto office at 180 Simcoe Street.

Sourced from a unique, ground-breaking methane-capture project situated on one of Canada's landfills, Bullfrog Power's green natural gas is a climate-friendly alternative to conventional, polluting natural gas. Through this innovative technology, biogas is captured, cleaned up, and put into the national natural gas pipeline, displacing fossil fuel-based gas and reducing CO₂ emissions into the atmosphere.
