Macquarie Power & Infrastructure Income Fund Announces Annual General Meeting of Unitholders

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 24, 2008) - Macquarie Power & Infrastructure Income Fund (TSX:MPT.UN)(TSX:MPT.DB)("MPT" or the "Fund"), which invests in essential infrastructure assets in North America, today announced that it will hold its 2008 Annual General Meeting of Unitholders on April 9, 2008 at the Toronto Stock Exchange Broadcast Centre Gallery, in Toronto, Ontario, commencing at 9 a.m. ET.

During the meeting, management will provide an overview of the Fund's performance in fiscal 2007 as well as an outlook for fiscal 2008, including future growth opportunities.
