Macquarie Power & Infrastructure Income Fund to Hold First Quarter Conference Call

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - April 24, 2007) - Macquarie Power & Infrastructure Income Fund (TSX:MPT.UN)("MPT", the "Fund") today announced that it will hold a conference call on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at 8:30 a.m. ET to discuss the Fund's financial and operating performance for the first quarter ended March 31, 2007.

The event will be hosted by Gregory Smith, Chief Executive Officer, and Harry Atterton, Chief Financial Officer.
