Macro Enterprises Inc.: Change of Senior Officers

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - April 27, 2007) - Macro Enterprises Inc. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:MCR) wishes to announce that as the Company has now completed its transition to a public company Brian Trypka has stepped down as a director and senior officer of the Company.

Mr. Trypka was appointed Chair and Chief Executive Officer of the Company in January, 2006 following the acquisition of Macro Industries Ltd. by Fulcrum Capital I Ltd. pursuant to a reverse take-over transaction on the TSX Venture Exchange to oversee the Company's transition from a private to a publicly-held company. As the Company has now effected this transition, Mr. Trypka has decided to pursue other business opportunities.

"Brian made a significant contribution to the Company at an important stage of its development," said Frank Miles, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. "We wish to thank him for his dedication and extend to him our best wishes."

Following the resignation of the Company's former Chief Financial Officer in January, 2007, Mr. Trypka agreed to act as interim Chief Financial Officer while the Company conducted a search for a permanent successor. The search for a new Chief Financial Officer is well advanced and the Company anticipates appointing a successor shortly.

As the Company is required by regulatory policy to have a chief financial officer, Keith Salmon, the corporate controller of the Company's principal operating subsidiary, Macro Industries Ltd., has been appointed interim Chief Financial Officer pending completion of the executive search. Mr. Salmon is a chartered accountant and was formerly corporate controller of Peace Country Freightliner Inc. in Fort St. John.

The TSX Venture Exchange does not accept responsibility for the adequacy or accuracy of this release.
