MacroSolve Launches Key Software Upgrades to its Suite of Mobile Apps 'Powered by ReForm XT'

TULSA, OK--(Marketwire - January 12, 2011) - MacroSolve, Inc. (OTCBB: MCVE) (OTCQB: MCVE), a leading provider of mobile technologies, apps and solutions, today announced the launch of significant upgrades to its suite of Insight™ branded mobile business apps Powered by ReForm XT™. ReForm XT and the Insight suite of apps are covered under the company's recently awarded landmark patent addressing mobile information collection.

The upgrades to ClubInsight™, DineInsight™, and SchoolInsight™ will be released in the upcoming weeks. The upgrades expand the functionality of these mobile apps for growing businesses. MacroSolve has focused on delivering upgrades that help its businesses reach more clients, generate greater revenues, and cut operating expenses, all while enhancing end-user experience.

"Consumers using branded apps on a routine basis represent a fundamental paradigm shift in marketing. Leading this shift, we've accelerated our investment in the ReForm XT platform, delivering more innovation and value to our clients and their customers. As we establish market leadership with breadth and depth of functionality, business clients using our Insight line of apps have an advantage in attracting, serving, and optimizing their customer opportunities," stated MacroSolve president and CEO Clint Parr.

Jeff McMains, MacroSolve's Vice President of ReForm XT, added, "Mobile apps allow users to be hyper-connected to what they determine is relevant to them, whether it's their favorite restaurant, retail location, school or faith-based organization. Our software upgrades create greater connectivity for users through online ordering, mobile video, automatic updates to the mobile device, and supporting multiple locations for our clients' growing businesses."

Specific upgrades include:

  • The ability to support multiple locations on the mobile client:
Now users of DineInsight can select from multiple restaurant locations, while ClubInsight users can choose preferred club locations. The new account pull down feature shows location address and phone numbers. This makes the Insight suite a valuable tool for growing chain restaurants and clubs.
  • Complete control over mobile apps without the need to push updates through the app stores:
Content managers, or business owners using the app, can update and change their content as well as branding experience and send updates directly to current users. Users will not have to visit the app store for upgrades. Content managers also have the option of sending an alert to users informing them that the content has been changed.
  • Mobile Ordering:
Content managers including restaurant and club owners can now offer mobile ordering of products and services through the Insight line of mobile apps. Restaurant customers using DineInsight can place orders directly on their mobile devices, while club members using ClubInsight can book golf times and sign up for exercise classes.
  • Streaming Video:
Content managers can include a link to a YouTube™ video that is then sent to their mobile application. The mobile app gives the user the ability to launch and view the video.
