Macusani Yellowcake Results Continue to Infill the Two Kilometer Strike Zone

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 12, 2008) - Macusani Yellowcake Inc. ("Macusani") (TSX VENTURE:YEL) -

Peter Hooper, President of Macusani stated: "We have now drilled 44 holes and every hole is mineralized down to depths of up to 65 meters."

Macusani Yellowcake Inc. is pleased to announce assay results from the ongoing drilling program at its Colibri II uranium property on the Macusani Plateau in southeastern Peru. These latest holes were drilled from the two drill collars that have been designated as Platform 11 ("P011") and Platform 25 ("P25"). The locations of the drill platforms are shown on the Macusani website.

As with the previous intercepts (see previous press releases dated November 12, 2007, December 14, 2007 February 18 and May 13 2008) each hole intersected multiple horizontally-oriented uraniferous zones at depths starting at surface down to 65.00 m. The uranium minerals are hosted in acidic volcanic rocks of rhyollite composition that cover large portions of the Macusani Plateau in "blanket like" formations from surface to a depth of approximately 100 m.

The assay results from our last four holes are shown in the table below (Note: The interval lengths are measured along the core length and may not represent true widths):

Quality Control

The Company employs a QA/QC protocol on all aspects of its analytical procedures. Whole core samples are sent to SGS Laboratories Peru in Lima, Peru. Samples are taken in intervals depending on the geological boundaries and type of mineralization (veins, veinlets, stockwork, dissemination, non-mineralized) but usually not more than 1m per sample. At SGS in Lima the core samples are crushed, pulverized, homogenized and a 250g riffled representative sample analyzed for Uranium using ICP-MS techniques on a suite of 50 chemical elements.

Two blank sample and two standards covering a range of grades are inserted every 50th sample. The pulps are stored at present at SGS in Lima.

Mr.Ian Foreman P.Geo., of Foremost Geological Consulting, is the Qualified Person, as defined under National Instrument 43-101, for the Colibri Property and has reviewed the technical information used in the preparation for this release. All aspects of the exploration program, are supervised by Dr.Laurence Stefan, Ph.D. (Economic Geology), a Director of Macusani, who is responsible for all scientific and technical information.
