MADD Canada and LCBO Deliver Powerful Sober Driving Message to Ontario Students

OAKVILLE, ON--(Marketwired - September 11, 2015) - MADD Canada and LCBO are proud to team up again to bring the critical sober driving message to Ontario students during the 2015-2016 school year.

This year's program, titled 24 Hours, shows the story of Michelle, Lainey and Nate as they attend a bush party dubbed "The End of the World." Getting into the spirit of the theme, the friends discuss what they would do if the end of world really was coming and they only had 24 hours to live. As the party unfolds, the friends could never imagine how significant that conversation would become.

24 Hours begins its year-long tour of Ontario schools this month. A special screening of the program is being held at Monsignor Percy Johnson Catholic High School in Etobicoke on September 15.

Media are welcome to attend the screening and speak with special guests, students and staff.

Date: Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 10:15 a.m.
Location: Monsignor Percy Johnson Catholic High School, 2170 Kipling Ave., Etobicoke, Ontario
Guests: Angeliki Souranis, MADD Canada National President
Stephanie Petroff, Senior Communications Consultant, LCBO

Thanks to the generous support of LCBO, its customers and staff, its Giving Back In Our Community campaign raised $2.3 million for the School Assembly Program. This enables MADD Canada to deliver more than 1,600 presentations of 24 Hours to more than half a million Ontario grades 7 - 12 students, at absolutely no charge to the schools.
