MADD Canada Welcomes CTV News Toronto's Andria Case as MC for the MADD Canada PIA Law Strides for Change Event

OAKVILLE, ON--(Marketwired - May 13, 2015) - MADD Canada is excited to welcome CTV News Toronto anchor and reporter Andria Case as the Master of Ceremonies for its 3rdannual Greater Toronto Area (GTA) MADD Canada PIA Law Strides for Change event being held on June 7 in Mississauga.

Our national signature walk/run, the MADD Canada PIA Law Strides for Change is held in communities across Canada to raise funds and awareness for MADD Canada's mission to stop impaired driving and to support victims of this violent crime.

"Impaired driving is a serious and tragic problem that impacts tens of thousands of Canadians every single year," Ms. Case said. "I am honoured to join MADD Canada and this effort to make our roads and communities safer from impaired driving."

Ms. Case, who joined CTV News Toronto in 1997 as a general assignment reporter, continues to report from the streets of Toronto, shares weekend anchor desk duties and has become the organization's 'go-to' Arts and Entertainment Reporter. She has reported from the red carpet at events such as the Toronto International Film Festival and the JUNO's, and has interviewed top celebrities including Oprah Winfrey, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

Together with Title Sponsor PIA Law, MADD Canada will host the GTA MADD Canada PIA Law Strides for Change event on Sunday, June 7 at JC Saddington Park, 53 Lake Street, Mississauga (Port Credit). The sign-in opens at 7:30 a.m. Ms. Case will open the event with welcome remarks at 8:45 a.m.
