Madison Avenue Is a State of Mind

Young & Rubicam Group's New Office Building at 3 Columbus Circle Wins Two Prestigious IFMA Awards

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Jan 24, 2014) - Young & Rubicam Group announced today that its new building at 3 Columbus Circle (3CC) won two prestigious awards at last night's International Facility Management's Association's (IFMA) New York City Awards for Excellence Dinner. Young & Rubicam Group won for Design & Construction of a New Facility as well as for best LEED Certified Project. Young & Rubicam Group worked with the New York office of global design firm Gensler to design the space.

"Madison Avenue is a state of mind," said David Sable, Global CEO of Y&R. "We couldn't be more proud of our space as it truly represents our agency and how we work. Our new building has enhanced our creative culture and has allowed us to collaborate in endless ways -- with ourselves, and with our sister companies, engaging all the people we bring together to create the best work for our clients. We are honored to be recognized by the IFMA and had great partners in Gensler to bring this project to life."

"Gensler and Y&R's partnership, on the design of the advertising agency's new home at 3 Columbus Circle, brought their innovative and transformative workplace vision to life. Our talented team of consultants and contractor helped create a distinctive space and flexible environment for Y&R, which will continue to grow with their family of companies for years to come," said Brian Berry, Principal, Gensler.
