Madison Media Institute Offers Baccalaureate Degree Program

MADISON, WI--(Marketwire - October 13, 2009) - Madison Media Institute is now offering an Entertainment and Media Business baccalaureate degree completion program. This program prepares students for management and production roles in entertainment and media. Upon completion of requirements, graduates will be awarded a Bachelor of Science degree.

Students in the program will complete 61 upper-division semester credits in four semesters. Courses include those in core business areas such as finance, accounting, and marketing; along with entertainment or media specific areas such as artist management and media promotion. Students will also complete 24 semester credit hours in general education.

"Designed as a capstone to our Associate Degree Programs, this curriculum is intended for those who wish to further their education in the direction of entertainment management. The program is a blended-education program, a hybrid of online and on campus courses. Target jobs for graduates of the Entertainment Media Business program include: Entertainment Venue Manager, Video Game Product Manager, Media Retail Manager, A&R Representative, Promotion Specialist, Publicist, Event Promoter, Studio Manager and many more," said Bret Ammons, Dean of Faculty, Madison Media Institute.
