Mag Rack Entertainment Selects TVN for Comprehensive VOD Services

Company Will Also Support Mag Rack Entertainment's Plans to Re-Brand Lifeskool

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - March 3, 2009) - TVN® Entertainment Corp., the world's largest television on-demand company, today announced a comprehensive long-term VOD services deal with Mag Rack Entertainment, a New York-based media company focused on delivering interactive and personalized media to consumers via TV, mobile devices and the Internet.

The agreement covers the full range of VOD services offered by TVN, including metadata publishing, distribution and asset management services to support various codecs, formats, fast turnaround requirements, distribution platforms, and advertising initiatives across North America. Mag Rack will also utilize TVN's interactive web-based asset tracking and management toolset Provider Remote Interface (PRI) which allows for live updates to their VOD programs via automated metadata conversions, and provides for a broad array of services including appending, encoding/transcoding, delivery and asset management services.

The unit formerly known as Lifeskool under ownership by Rainbow Media Holdings Inc. was sold last October to long-time media, entertainment and technology entrepreneurs Joe Covey and Matthew Davidge, who are operating the business using the network's previous brand name, Mag Rack. The new entity also recently purchased ConcertTV to further expand their VOD offerings. TVN will support Mag Rack Entertainment's VOD initiatives including the re-branding of Lifeskool.
