Magazines Canada Business Media White Paper Looks to the Future

TORONTO--(Marketwired - Jun 19, 2013) -  Today Magazines Canada released its latest white paper titled, "Plotting a Course across Canada's Business Media Landscape."

Commissioned by the association and authored by respected industry consultants John Milne and D.B. Scott, the paper was inspired by the February 2013 Business Media Leadership Summit. The white paper reflects the authors' broadly based analysis of current and future opportunities for the vibrant business media publishing sector.

The paper took direction from the Summit's seminal gathering of 20 of Canada's leading business media publishers, who, over 36 hours, engaged in fruitful forward-looking conversation. The Summit was made possible with support from the Alliance for Audited Media, Equisoft and the Business Media Advisory Group of Magazines Canada, with additional financial support provided by the Ontario Media Development Corporation.

Both the Summit findings and the white paper continue to inform the strategic focus of Magazines Canada's Business Media Advisory Group. The advisory group members are Niel Hiscox, group chair (Universus Media); Rick Campbell (Rogers Media Publishing); Mark Jamison (Magazines Canada); Todd Latham (Actual Media); and Martin McAnulty (Annex Business Media).

The white paper is another example of a Magazines Canada project that reflects the association's leadership in supporting Canada's vibrant business media environment.
