Magic Johnson Joins Speaker Lineup for ACG Los Angeles Annual Business Conference

Sports Legend Is a Leading Developer of Inner City Projects That Build Communities and Profits

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - June 10, 2008) - Earvin "Magic" Johnson, Jr., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Magic Johnson Enterprises, will be a keynote speaker at the 2008 ACG Los Angeles Business Conference, to be held September 16 and 17 in Beverly Hills.

The conference focuses on corporate finance and M&A activity for middle-market companies. It features globally renowned speakers on business, technology and public affairs as well as technical sessions on finance and corporate growth.

Mr. Johnson became a basketball superstar during his 13-year career, where his honors included five national championships with the Los Angeles Lakers, 3 Most Valuable Player awards, 12 All-Star games, a gold medal at the 1992 Olympics, and induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Mr. Johnson is currently Vice President and part owner of the Los Angeles Lakers.

His company, Magic Johnson Enterprises (MJE), focuses on serving ethnically diverse urban communities. MJE's portfolio of companies includes Urban Coffee Opportunities (the only joint venture partner of Starbucks); more than 30 Burger King restaurants; a dozen 24 Hour Fitness Magic Sport centers; a T.G.I. His Magic Johnson Foundation has provided grants of more than $1.1 million to support HIV/AIDS education and prevention. It also operates 20 Magic Johnson Community Empowerment Centers located in underserved communities across the country.
