Magicweb Announces Appointment of Vice President

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 22, 2005 -- Magicweb, Inc. (OTC: MGWB), a broadcasting solutions company, today announced the appointment of William (Bill) Mayers as VP of technology development.

Bill Mayers has had involvement with the Magicweb technology from its early incarnation as an Internet broadcasting solution. As the CEO of HelpOverIP, Bill was one of the first major licensees of the EnterVision system that integrated seamlessly into the HelpOverIP system.

Bill is also the founder and principal shareholder of C3Gateways. He has developed the vision, designed the technology, directed the development efforts, and led the initial funding activities for the company. As Chief Technology and Strategy Officer, since September 2001, he is responsible for protecting the Company's intellectual property, driving both the R&D program and the product evolution strategy and is the company's strategic advisor.

Since 1981, Mr. Mayers has been an entrepreneur in the high-technology field. The network integration and services company he founded at the onset of the computer network revolution, was the first Novell Gold Dealer in Canada and was named to the Novell Reseller Council in 1987, 1988, and 1989. In the early 1990s, his firm became the Montreal office of the global company, USConnect, which was sold in 1996 along with other USConnect offices to IKON, an office solutions company. During the 15-year period, his firms' clients included ABB, Air Canada, American Telephone and Telegraph (AT&T), Wunderman International, Warnaco, and the Canadian Government. From 1996 to 2000, he acted as a business consultant to various high-technology firms, which eventually led to the C3Gateways Project.
